An update from Central Brazil Mission. Answered prayers and more prayers needed.
Our prayers have been answered!
Captain San continues to improve daily, only using oxygen when necessary. However, he has expressed concern as things continue to get worse in the city of Manaus, extending to the villages. Starting today, to help decrease the spread of COVID, the local government has decided to shut everything down - including the travel of any boats - and mandated people to stay home for an undetermined amount of time. This of course affects our CBM Amazonia boat ministry and the missionaries in the villages.
Please continue to pray for the situation in Brazil.

My friend and former co-worker was diagnosed with breast cancer last week. However, they also found nodules on her lung and a spot on her liver. Please pray that none of this is carcinoma and all can be treated. Her name is Debi.

An update from Earl and Ruth Ann Haubner - thank God for answered prayers.
Update - Captain San, Earl & Ruth Anne, and Manaus
We are so grateful for your thoughts and prayers for Captain San. He is improving daily, has started respiratory therapy, and is slowly getting away from using oxygen! He can now talk without getting winded.
Earl & Ruth Anne received their first dose of the COVID vaccine today and are scheduled for a second dose around the first week of February.
Please pray for the City of Manaus. Hospitals are full and are facing a shortage of oxygen. Patients are being moved to other states and oxygen is being shipped in from other places.
Thank you for your continued support of CBM.
